Dear VC,
I have just returned home from riding today for the first time in the VC and wish to express my thanks for a well organised event. Having been involved in road running events myself, Iknow how much work is involved.
For today's event bnoth the route signing and marshalling was of the highest possible standard, and as for the catering provision, well what can I say? That was really superb and most welcome.
... With regard to the ride itself, well it was a tough course for me (as a 72yr old). The mud was,in places, diabolical, but as they say "no pain, no gain". The physical effort was worthwhile, no doubt and it gave me a great feeling of satisfaction on completing such a challenge. I twas great fun. I trust you will continue to make this a annual event and I look forward to joining you again in future years.
