Fee includes first aid, rescue (only available at checkpoints, except in extreme cases); also delicious refreshments en route and at the end.
The number of entries may be restricted (we don’t want to run out of cakes!).
Confirmation:
If you require a receipt and confirmation of entry, please include an SAE along with your entry form. Otherwise confirmation will be given on the day of the event.
U16s
U16 Children must be accompanied by an adult over 18yrs throughout the whole course.
We strongly advise 1 adult should accompany 2 children only.
If you wish to take more than two children, please contact us - we will consider exceptional circumstances.
We strongly advise U16s do the 30K route only - this is a tough off road route .

Start Time: Please register between 8:00 and 10:00am, where you will receive your rider number, and be ready to commence The Challenge 10 minutes after you have checked in.
Distance: Approx. 50km (31 miles) - alternative 30km route also available.
Time Limit: 5 hours.
Route: The description will be issued at registration.
Retirements: Anyone retiring at checkpoints can be transported back to the venue. Cyclists retiring must notify Registration that they have done so.
Equipment: Helmets and maintenance kits are recommended.
Completion: You will be issued with a certificate at the finish.
Parking: Available close to the venue.
The Countryside Code and Highway Code: Please read these at the venue. Riders must give way at junctions and road crossing points. Please note that Marshals have no authority to control or stop other traffic
